Our own “to do” list – Your Logic Financial Services team update

This summer we all sought to remain cool amid soaring temperatures. But it’s important that we practice what we preach, so the Logic team have been taking advantage of the holiday season to get in some well-earned downtime.

Harj and Harmit spent a month with the kids in Florida, avoiding the urge to discuss cashflow planning with others, while in the queue for the numerous theme parks.

Gabriel – who recently joined us as an adviser (see below) – had a fairly lazy 10 days by the pool in the Mallorcan sunshine.

He and the family also enjoyed the odd day out, including to the caves near Porto Cristo, which conceal one of the biggest underground lakes in the world. He is now officially the Logic person-to-go-to if you want to know your stalagmites from your stalactites.

Emma has been busy learning Spanish so it won’t be a surprise to learn she’s heading to Barcelona in September (although she claims the two aren’t related).

We are delighted to announce that she recently qualified as a Chartered financial planner, so “felicitaciones” for that!

Our new senior client administrator, Claire, is looking to take the family off to Cornwall in late summer and spend some time in Greece in the autumn.

Susi has been leading the charge on the staycation front. She has also recently fostered a rescue dog and nursed it back to health. She’s been busy sorting her house ready for sale so there’s never a dull moment.

Keith is heading to Norfolk and plans on visiting the world-famous gardens at Norfolk Lavender, along with Bickling Hall. He’s also on a quest to find some Cromer crab and a decent local brewery.

Lindsey and Guy are also staying in England and are hiking from one side of the country to the other.

Formally known as the Coast-to-Coast walk, the route totals 192 miles and takes in stunning scenery in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North Yorkshire Moors.

Map-reading skills and knowing how to use a compass are vital for the trip. So, if you speak to Lindsey in September and she tells you she walked more than 200 miles, you’ll know they took a wrong turn.

Whatever you’ve done or have planned for the next few months, we hope it’s a chance to get away from the usual day-to-day routine and relax and recharge.
